 There maybe occasions when there  there is a need to contact another  agency or professional, but this would  only occur with your consent.

 This ensures that you remain in control  of your personal details and that you  decide whom else may access your  information.

Security:

 How will your information be  protected?

 All hard copy client files are stored in  locked filing cabinets. Information  stored on computers will be limited to  NEHS workers and is password  protected.

Access:

 Can you access your personal  information?

 Yes, you have a right to request access  to your information and ask that it be  updated or corrected as necessary.

Disposal of records:

 How long do we keep your  information?

 We are a DHS funded agency and are  required to keep records for a specific  time by law. After this time, if the  information is no longer required we  must dispose of information in a secure manner.
